April 12, 1938 - July 5, 2018
Gayle Darlene Sibbet passed away peacefully on July 5th 2018 with family by her side. Gayle was born on April 12 1938 in Regina SK to Annie and Charles Burns.
Gayle leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Warren, daughters Brenda, Donna (Mark) and son Doug (Sandra) 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Gayle met Warren as a teenager in Lethbridge AB. In 1956 they were married in Vancouver BC. They spent many years moving to different cities in western Canada due to Warren's job with Woolworths finally settling in Nanaimo in 1973. Although family was her main focus and would do anything for them she also found time to work at various hobbies and have a full time job in a local dentist's office.
At Gayle's request there will be no service. Special thanks to the amazing people in palliative care at NRGH. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to palliative care at NRGH or the Salvation Army.
