Shade, Fredrick Valentine
Born June 14, 1926, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2011 at the age of 84, after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be dearly missed by his loving children: Colin (Judy), Kaaydah, Fredrick Jr. (Gail), Steven (Violet), Della (Craig), and April. He is survived by his brother and sisters: Don, Peggie, Barb and Rusty. He will be missed by his 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Fred was a retired Faller, IWA member and Fisherman.
Fred’s family would like to thank Dr. Morris, Nanaimo Regional General Hospital doctors, nurses and staff for helping him with his wishes.
A Memorial Service, will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 and will be followed by a tea at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 1724 Vowels Road, Cassidy, BC at 2:30 p.m. (250) 245-4511
