WALKER, Frederick William
Born May 23, 1947, affectionately known as "Freddie" by his many friends, passed away July 22, 2005 from his courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his best friend and companion, Darlene McInnis. A Chemainus resident and a friend and savior of all animals, he will be sadly missed by his comrades "Chelsie" and "Wylie". A celebration of Freddie's life will be held for family at 2pm on August 13, at 2406 Fountain Gate Place in Nanaimo and for friends on August 14 at 2 pm at the Moose Hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cancer Foundation.
