Fred passed away peacefully at NRGH May 1, 2016 after a short illness. Fred managed to live his last years on his terms staying in his home with his dog Bella who will miss him dearly.
Fred is survived by his brother Allen (Sheila), his sister Enid (Doug) Rowe, his children Ron (Sue) and Wendy and his grandchildren Tyler, Brianne, Mark and Jennifer.
There will be a celebration tea honouring Fred to be held Wednesday May 25, 2016 at First Memorial Funeral Chapel 1720 Bowen Road Nanaimo from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
