Sliwinski, Frank

April 3, 1917 – September 7, 2010

Frank served in the French Foreign Legion 1938 – 1942, WWII Polish Free Forces, attached to the home fleet under British command 1943 – 1947. After the war he said, “And now I must do something good.”

A gentle man, wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Lifetime member of #256 Mt. Benson Legion and past honorary president. A job well done.

He leaves his loving wife, Dorothy; daughter, Joy; son-in-law, Bill; grandchildren: Brian & Terry Duesterwald and families; Allen Denington, David & Kent Denington and families. Predeceased by his daughter, Ann Duesterwald.

A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11a.m. #256 Mt. Benson Legion, 1630 East Wellington Rd.
