GNOT, FLORENCE, L
Born Sept. 19, 1923, and passed away at home November, 28, 2007, in Nanaimo, B.C. She was a member of the Women Of The Moose and of Branch 256 Legion. She enjoyed dancing, playing crib, shopping and bingo.
Flo is survived by her loving son, John Syrette and three grandchildren, Mike, Steve and Yvette Syrette, all of Nanaimo. Many have said we were "her reason for living". She treasured her son greatly as he did with her. She is also survived by her two sisters, Blanche Larson of 100 Mile House, Verna Devorkin of Nanaimo, B.C. and her brother Ervin Isbister and wife Pat of Edmonton, Alberta.
She will be missed by countless nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. Plus many, many, friends. Flo was a loving and kind person. Her memory will be cherished by all who loved and knew her. A "Celebration of Life" was held at the Moose Lodge in Nanaimo on Sat. Dec. 8th.
