Cuffalo, Fioretti (Fred)
Born in Nanaimo on August 2, 1917, Fred died in Nanaimo Regional Hospital on June 9, 2003. Predeceased by his parents, Nanaimo pioneers Giovanni and Maria Cuffolo, and sister, Josephine Leigh. Fred will be remembered with love by his wife of 52 years, Iris; brothers, Alfred and Raymond (Remo); sister Marjorie; nieces, Anita McCann and Wendy Calvin; nephew, Ronald Leigh; nieces-in-law, Adele Anderson and Barbara Jones; other extended family; and many, many friends. There will be no service by Fred’s request. No flowers, please, but those who wish may donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Fred’s memory. Honour him best by being what he was; a good, generous, loyal man with a keen sense of humour and a heart of gold. Rest in peace, Cuff.
