passed away on Saturday January 29, 2005. Born in Carmangay, Alberta on May 10, 1913, she was brought up on a farm and later married Gustav Greene who also was a farmer. They had two daughters, Evelyn(Art) Bell deceased 1992, Deanna(Len)Pedersen from Calgary, Alberta, Earl(Rose) deceased 1988 and son Kenneth(Sharon) from Cassidy,BC. Gustav passed away in 1960, and Emma remarried to Ernest Graf. They built up a tourist business on TransCanada Highway, Revelstoke, BC and sold out in 1969 and moved to Nanaimo where they had a Mobile Home Park. Ernest passed away in 1990. Emma moved into Long Lake Chateau where she resided for several years and then to Malaspina Gardens. Emma also leaves to mourn her loss several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always ready to help everyone and was a well liked and respected lady. Emma was a member of the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and a Memorial Service will be held there at 4235 Departure Bay Road, Nanaimo on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at 2:30pm. Emma will be cremated and her ashes will be buried in Calgary alongside her husband Gustav.
