Emma Erickson

With sad hearts we are sorry to announce that our Mom Emma Erickson passed away peacefully on May 18, 2016 at the N.R.G.H. in Palliative care. Mom was born November 25, 1928 in Tisdale Sask. Emma is pre-deceased by her mom - Donalda, dad - William, sister - Florence and 3 brothers - Ernest, Jerry, and Don. Emma is survived by 2 daughters - Judy (Ben Skarbo) and Sandra (Bob Stacey), a son - Kenny Watson, 2 sisters - Leona and Denise, 3 brothers - Vic, Len and Dennis, 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Emma worked in the parts department at Meyers Holland and she opened the Near New Boutique with her BFF Betty. Gardening and Flowers were Emma’s real passion as well as her Family and Friends. Mom will be missed by so many.
A Celebration of Life for Emma will be held on Sunday June 26, 2016 from 1pm to 4pm at the Moose Hall, 1356 Cranberry Ave, Chase River.
We would like to give a big Thank you to the doctors, nurses and careaids on the 3rd floor of NRGH, as well as Dr. Baird and nurses in palliative care for keeping Mom so comfortable.
