It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, at The Lodge on 4th, Ladysmith, B.C. on Friday, May 4, 2018.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Monique (Larry) and Colette; grandchildren Melanie, Alyssa, Luke, Joseph, and Austin; sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews, and many friends.
Emile is predeceased by his loving wife Beverley, son Paul, his parents Valere and Marie-Anne, and sisters, Eva and Pauline.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Bernadette's Parish, Winnipeg, Manitoba on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 9 a.m. Emile's interment will be held in June at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar, B.C.
Flowers gratefully declined, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia in honour of Emile's hard-fought battle, and for those he met along the way.
A very special thank you to the staff at NRH for your kindness, compassion, patience, and understanding.
To Kim and all the staff at The Lodge on 4th in Ladysmith, thank you for the most excellent care you gave to Emile over the last few months, and all you did to help the family through this difficult journey. You are truly our angels on earth.
