Elspeth Mary (Mandy)
1941-2013
Beloved mother and best friend of Corrie, died peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit, October 2, 2013 with daughter Corrie by her side.
She is predeceased by her husband Oscar and her parents, Gordon and Kathleen Wilson; survived by her brother, John (Diane), and other relatives in Canada and abroad.
Elspeth was a physiotherapist at NRGH for many years until her retirement in 2006. She had a kind heart and an adventurous spirit. Elspeth will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family, co-workers and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Vancouver Island Marmot Recovery Foundation or Nanaimo Hospice would be appreciated.
There will be a private family cremation. No service by request.
