KELENY, Elmer Clarence (Al)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Al Keleny on March 1st, 2008 after a short illness. Al was born on October 21st, 1932 in Vancouver, BC. A distinguished Veteran of the Korean War. He settled in Victoria with his wife of 53 years where he raised three children while working with Canadian Liquid Air. He was later transferred to Nanaimo where he happily retired and took up his favorite sport of baseball again. Al is survived by his cherished wife Louise, sons; Robert (Morag), and Steve, grandchildren; Robert, David and Meagan, and great-grandchild Kaiden. Brother Larry. Predeceased by daughter Barbara. A celebration of life will be held at the home of Bob and Morag Keleny 595 Aurora Way, Victoria, BC on Saturday March 8th, 2008 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
