July 28, 1961 – June 19, 2017 (55 Years)
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Elin Evelyn Plumb, of Creston, BC on June 19, 2017. Elin was surrounded by family in the Palliative Care Unit of NRGH in her last moments. Elin is survived by her son Tony Andersen and Fiancée Amanda Paterson, son Sandy Maynard, brother Rusty Plumb and partner Barb Burrows, sister Loreen Johnstone and husband Bob Johnstone, mother Junne Lenk, father Bob Plumb, and many close friends. Elin lived many of her years on Vancouver Island immersed in the tranquil outdoors, painting beautiful seascapes, and raising her two sons. She pursued training in Art and Music at Malaspina College, and taught youth and adults to play guitar. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Palliative Care Unit and the Hospice Volunteers for their support in her final days. Service will be held on July 29th at 1pm @ Telford’s - 595 Townsite Road, Nanaimo, BC.
