Born March 23, 1915 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, passed away September 12, 2006 at Dufferin Place, Nanaimo. She is survived by her husband Arthur, two sons Arthur H. (Rene), and Rolf K. (Hilda), Inge Demsky, five grandchildren, Ute and Bruno Holvwa, Arther G. and Alison, Mike and Annette, Andy and Dana, Rene Demsky and twelve great grandchildren. Private family cremation, flowers gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Elfriede may be made to the BC Children's Hospital.
