Beloved wife and mother Marie is predeceased by husband Torsten in September 1993. She is survived by children Janette, Carl-Axel, Emily, daughter in law Christine, siblings, Alan McDonald, Goldie Kerr, Lois Cole, Bernice and Jim McNair and Kay Shannon, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, BC on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Canadian Cancer Society in Marie’s memory.
