March 20, 1915 - March 27, 2008
Eleanor was born in Nanaimo to Adam and Isabella Russell. She was predeceased by brothers; David (Jean) Jim (Laureta) and Adam. She is survived by nephews and nieces; Janice Stevenson, Neil Russell (Laurel) Jim Russell (Kathleen) Laurie Russell (Sandi) Debbie Remillard (Clem) and their children.
She was a long time employee of B.C. Telephone Co. Her life was fulfilled with gardening, golfing, and of course her many dogs over the years. She was also very active with the Nanaimo Kennel Club.
The family would like to thank Dave and Joan Turner for their support, and the staff of Birch Wing at Dufferin Place for their excellent care.
A tea will be held at Nanaimo Golf Clubhouse on Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 2-4 p.m.
