Edith Higgins
August 13, 1924 – August 25, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Higgins, who passed away peacefully after a sudden illness.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack, she will be sorely missed by her daughters Jan and Liz, her extended family Kathleen and Lyric and by all her many friends both in Canada and the UK. Edith will be remembered in her daughters’ hearts forever as a caring and wonderful mother and an amazing human being.
A Memorial Service for Edith will be held at 2:00pm on September 23rd at St. Philip by the Sea Anglican Church in Lantzville. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Edith’s memory to the Nanaimo Regional Hospital Foundation.
