In Loving Memory ~
Dustin left us after a brief illness at the age of 29. Though small in stature Dustin's spirit was large. Dustin's energy and enthusiasm touched many people and inspired us to live in the moment. He made a lasting impression on the many people whose lives he touched. He brought pure enjoyment to life's simple pleasures like throwing rocks at the beach, bowling, swimming or watching hockey. He loved bus rides, Monsters Inc movies, chicken nuggets and prawns.
Dustin is survived by his mom Xuan Cao (Kerry Curtin), step brothers Joseph and Matthew. He will always be remembered as a special part of his Sugiyama and Silvey foster families. Thanks to the many people who cared for Dustin over the years including the sta of the Hammond House, Nanaimo Child Development Centre, MCFD, CLBC and SD 68.
Please join us for a Celebration of Dustin's Life Friday, May 13th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Bowen East picnic shelter in Bowen Park (enter o Wall Street).
Donations in memory of Dustin can be made to the Nanaimo Child Development Centre or a children's charity of your choice.
