It is with extreme sadness and broken hearts to announce the unexpected passing of Dr. Richard Cone.
Richard was very passionate about science and medicine. It was his life's purpose, always willing to share his wisdom, knowledge and experiences. His dedication to his patients health and well being was endless.
Richard practiced family and emergency medicine in several different places around the world including Club Med, St. Lucia, Victoria BC, Prince George, Altus Oklahoma and Nanaimo BC.
So many people gave Richard much kindness and praise throughout his career of 44 years. He kept all of these in a special place in his heart, never to be forgotten. He truly cared and treated his patients with kindness, compassion and respect.
He was a remarkable person and an amazing Doctor. The world has truly lost someone extraordinary!
Richard had a creative mind with a positively unique sense of humor. He had a love of the ocean and nature alike; a scuba instructor and avid fitness enthusiast.
The most gentle, kind, loving soul. He was the center of his family's world.
Rest in Peace my love. Shattered by sadness, never to be forgotten. Rainbows, Planes and Todaisies, Until we meet again.
