It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dorothy Eva Helen Green on January 5, 2016 in her 91st year. Dorothy continued on her journey peacefully with her loving daughter by her side. She was born September, 29, 1924 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Predeceased by her husband Woodrow Carlton Green in 2010, her mother Muriel Cousins, father Frederick Cresswell and brother Frank Cresswell. Survived by her daughter Gale, her son Robert, grandchildren Justin, Aaron, Lisa, and Brandy and her many great grandchildren. Dorothy was well known for her beautiful singing voice she was blessed with while active in the Brechin United Church choir. She was a active member of Eastern Star for many years. We would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff at Woodgrove Manor for taking such good care during her stay. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society in memory of Dorothy. In keeping with her final wishes, Mom will be laid to rest with her Mother at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on February 6th, 2016 from 4 – 7 pm, at 3240 Fairway Cres.
