Go, Doris (nee Lum)
March 16, 1927 ~ January 15, 2010
Doris passed away peacefully at the age of 82 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital Palliative Care Unit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her mother Lillian Lum and father Buck Chew Lum; sisters Lorna Stallings, Betty Setterington, and Priscilla Lowe; and brothers Henry, George, Benny and Sonny Lum.
Doris is survived by her husband Kin Tong Go; daughters Laura Landry (Roger) and Lisa Scheck (Brad); grandchildren Matthew Landry, Kali Scheck, and Hayden Scheck; sisters Alice Soon (Jimmy) and Shirley Mah (Garnet); brother Dennis (April); and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends.
A service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, B.C. at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010. Interment will follow at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, 2347 Cedar Road, Cedar, B.C.
