CORLETT, Dora Edith (Peggy)
Passed away on Monday, October 15 at the Travellers Lodge in Nanaimo, BC. She is survived by her daughter Dale Hammond (Don), of Sparwood, BC, granddaughter Tanya Vollans of Spruce Grove, AB, and brother-in-law Allan Corlett of Nanaimo. She was pre deceased by her husband Ted in 1996. Peggy was born in Croydon, England in 1919 and came to Canada as a war-bride. She spent the rest of her life in Nanaimo. She was a long time member of the war-bride club. Peggy was a fine cook and loved gardening and dancing. The family would like to thank the staff at Travellers Lodge for their care and kindness during her stay there. A Funeral service was held Friday, October 19, 2007 at 11:00 am at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, BC.
