Grinham, Donald Leo
passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2003 in his 76th year at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. A devoted husband and loving father, he is survived by his wife Mona, sons Richard (Patti), David, Lloyd, and daughter-in-law Cecilia. Beloved brother of Leoda (Fretz) and Bernice (Esdale). Cherished grandfather of Emily Marie, Carolyn Mona and Kathleen Donn. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Estella, brothers Harold and Lorne. Born in Stevensville, Ontario, Donald and Mona retired to British Columbia in 1990 where he continued to work tirelessly as a volunteer for the Trinty United Church, 6234 Spartan Road in Nanaimo, with arrangements entrusted to First Memorial Funeral Services (250) 754-8333 in Nanaimo. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
