SIM, DONALD BRUCE
April 17, 1948 ~ June 20, 2008
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Donald Bruce Sim, after a short battle with cancer.
Don was predeceased by his parents John and Ruby Sim and brother Ken Sim.
Don is survived by brothers John (Isabel) of Ridgetown, Ontario, George (Sonja) of Port Alberni, Harold (Donna) of Victoria, Collin (Joanne) of Port Alberni, sister-in-law Christine of Port Alberni, very special extended family Leo and Marilyn Smith of Nanaimo, nieces Cheryl, Anita (Lance) Grubisich, Brenda McKichan, nephews Ray, Ken, Mark, Daniel, Kevin, Darren, Jonathan and Daniel, many great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank Leo and Marilyn Smith for their love and support given to Don the last 6 ½ years. We would also like to thank Bernie and Remi and Doug Reeves for their friendship and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nanaimo SPCA, 2200 Labieux Road, Nanaimo, BC or the Canadian Cancer Society, 750 Hillside Avenue, Victoria, BC, V8T 1Z4.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 1:00 - 4:00pm at The Salvation Army Church, 505 8th Street, Nanaimo, BC.
