Passed Away on October 24th, 2005
at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital after losing her battle with cancer. In the final days of her struggle she was surrounded by family, friends and the devoted members of the NRGH Palliative Care Unit.
Diane was a daughter, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. Those that knew her understood the quality of her friendship and the endless devotion that she provided to her family. Although her passing has left an emptiness in all of us, her strong will and unbreakable spirit will remain forever.
At Diane’s request, a private service is to be held, however, a public celebration of her life will be held on Saturday Oct. 29th, 2005 at the Cedar Community Hall from 12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, private donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
