It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diana on Friday November 23, 2012 at the age of 53. She was born and raised in Nanaimo, BC. Family, friends, animals, sewing, country music, and auto racing were the love and joy of Diana’s life. She is also survived by her loving and devoted mother, Jean Anderton-Colcough; siblings: Arnie (Sandra) and their children, Nathaniel and Courtney, Tony, Donna (Chantes), and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Ernest James; mother-in-law Marg, and father-in-law Lorence Sr.
A special thank you to all the support staff, care aides, nurses and doctors who helped make Diana’s last few years comfortable and the best they could be.
A Memorial Service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1720 Bowen Rd, Nanaimo on Saturday December 1, 2012 at 10:30 am, followed by a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, please make your donations to the SPCA or the Brain Injury Society, in Diana’s memory.
Rest in peace Diana. We love and miss you.
