Following Debbie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and her ashes will be scattered over the Strait of Georgia. The family held a private service and are planning a Celebration of Life once Covid restrictions lift.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Surrey Memorial Hospital for the excellent care Debbie received; and would also like to thank Pastor Don for his spiritual guidance and comforting words. If so desired, donations in Debbie’s memory made to Unit N52
Palliative Care Unit of Surrey Memorial Hospital, or the Vancouver Canadians Baseball Foundation, or a charity of one’s choice, would be appreciated by the family.
