Dunbar, Dean Malcolm
1933 ~ 2013
Born December 24, 1933 to George Dunbar and Melba Sudden; died peacefully with his youngest son Randy at his side on May 26, 2013.
Dean was born in San Francisco but grew up in Vancouver BC. As a kid, he worked for Nat Bailey at the first White Spot. Dean was a manager for Pacific Truck and Trailer for 35 years. He started with the company in his teens as a stock boy.
Dean loved sports, especially golf. His house on the 14th tee of NGCC was his pride and joy. He is survived by his sons, Greg and Randy; also by his granddaughters, Abby and Katie.
Deano was a good guy to have a pint with. He taught me about generosity and I will honour him by paying that forward to Abby and Katie. No service by request.
