MCDONALD, David William
David (Smokey) McDonald passed away peacefully on July 29, 2005 with his family by his side at his home in Nanaimo, BC at the age of 84 years. Smokey is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Dorothy, his daughter Linnea, granddaughter Chambly and great grandson Adam, sister-in-law Evelyne Smith and many nieces and nephews. Smokey served with the Royal Canadian Navy in the North Atlantic during WWII. He was a Legion member for 60 years last attending the Lantzville Legion Branch 257. Also a long time member of the Royal Canadian Naval Association. Cremation, no service by family request.
