David was born in Workum Netherlands and grew up on the island of Terschelling.
After school, he studied medicine at the University of Groningen. He worked in Holland, Sweden, Lapland, Australia, Oman, England and Canada.
David received wonderful care from the Doctors, Nurses, Care Givers and all the staff at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
Survived by his loving wife Diana and three sons David, William and Michael and grandchildren.
A Celebration of the Life of David was held Monday, January 16th in the Chapel at Telfords Ladysmith.
