It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Edwards on June 01, 2011, at NRGH.
Bob passed away with his wife by his side after a short but courageous battle with pneumonia and liver disease.
Born and raised in Nanaimo, Bob was predeceased by his father David Edwards. He is survived by his mother Shirley, wife Doris, uncle Gary, aunt Sis, several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and his four legged companion Dobie.
Bob’s greatest passion was fishing. He was well liked and known on the West Coast. He spent most of his time on his commercial fish boat “Sweet Changes”.
Bob will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. There will be no funeral service by request, however if you are inclined to do so, toss one (White Russian) back in Bob’s memory.
