David James Karl Hannah
December 15, 1960 – August 30, 2016
David passed suddenly in the presence of his loving family. He was born in Haney and was adopted shortly after birth. Four years later he became a big brother. David lived his life in Nanaimo attending Princess Anne, Departure Bay, and Woodland Secondary. He first worked at L&M Meats for his Dad, then in the logging and construction industries, and also spent time where his heart lay, working to help others at NCUS, Malaspina Lodge, and Samaritian House. David is pre-deceased by his devoted mother Milly Hannah, and will be remembered lovingly by his father Len Hannah, his sister Colleen Hannah (Darren,) His niece Ashley Johnston (Rhys,) his close friend Linda, and his extended family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at the Neighbourhood church in Nanaimo on Saturday, September 10th, 2016 at 2 pm.
