David George Albert BOOTH
February 15, 1941 - June 16, 2014
Born in Montreal, Quebec, February 15, 1941, passed away in Nanaimo on June 16, 2014 after a brave battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his father, George Booth, in 2005, and Mother, Helen, in 1944. He was a telephone installer for 22 years with Bell and AGT before moving to Nanaimo to own a small motel. He tried his hand at selling real estate before finally getting his marine engineer papers and working 15 years at CFMETR, Nanoose, on auxillary vessels. David loved hiking and the outdoors, where he could spend hours atop one of his favourite hills reading, sunning and taking in the beauties of nature.
He will be dearly missed by Valerie, his wife of 46 years.
