Born November 15, 1937 David was the only son of Doris Rose Salmon, Walthamstow, England and Daniel Victor Martin of Penetangyishene, Ontario. Predeceased by his son in law Richard (Sherry) David was a creative artistic man, full of love for the great outdoors, wildlife, Mother Nature and adventure. He loved to paint and draw; tinker with old antique vehicles, build model planes trains and cars; explore the globe to meet new people and see new sights. He enjoyed baseball, and hockey and a good cold beer. He had a fondness for cooking, and a natural green thumb for herb gardening. He dedicated his career to humanity, in the field of law enforcement and corrections. He saw hope in all humanity, and had a very big heart for the downtrodden and wayward life travellers. He had a strong sense of justice and fairness which won him many friends throughout his life. He will be lovingly remembered by many.
