Passed away after a heroic 5-1/2 year battle with cancer. Dave was born in Trail, BC but grew up in Kimberley and moved to Nanaimo at the age of 16. He liked the outdoors and fishing, but especially loved to be at the ballpark. He will be missed forever by Joanne, his wife of 29 years; his children who he was so proud of Camille (Mike) Eade, Danielle and Shaun; his grandchildren Taylor, Callee, Macy and Liam; his mother Betty Haug; brothers Rick and Randy Haug; sisters Heather (Terry) Bueckert and Audrey Haug; his in-laws and all his nieces and nephews. Dave’s family would like to thank the many health care professionals who assisted him, in particular Dr. Kemp and Dr. Cheung. Cremation. No service by request.
