BELLOCH, Clarence Reinhard

passed away March 29, 2004, after a courageous battle, in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Clarence is survived by his sons Wes (Carol) of Nanaimo; Ken of Maple Ridge; daughter Diane (Gary) of Kamloops, 9 grandchildren, Johanna, Dustin, Mike and Alex - Christina, Derek and Ryan - Andrew and Matt; and 4 great grandchildren, Brianne, Kaylee and Camryn - and Brodie. Born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Clarence served in the Canadian Armed Forces (Seaforth Highlanders) spending three years overseas during World War II. While overseas, he met his beautiful bride Alida in Holland. After raising their family in Burnaby, BC they retired to Parksville in 1980. On September 12, 2000, Alida passed away. Clarences’ family and friends will gather to celebrate his life. The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to the nurses and staff of the I.C.U. Palliative Care and 1st Floor at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital for their care and compassion.
