Chris Sellars passed away in Nanaimo Hospital on October 20th, 2015 due to heart complications.
Chris was born on April 3, 1950 in Harrogate, England. At 17 he enlisted in the British Merchant Navy. At 22 he relocated to Vancouver eventually settling in Nanaimo in 1980.
Chris had a loving family encompassed of wife Rhondda of 45 years and sons Brett and Ryan (Deanna), and two grand daughters Mikhayla and Paittyn. Chris always had a wonderful sense of humour. He enjoyed cooking, golf and travel. He will be greatly missed.
As per Chris’s request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers donations to the Nanaimo Hospice Society, Heart & Stroke Association, or Nanaimo Diabetes Association are welcome.
