Charles Hubbard Randle
Oct. 24, 1924 - July 10, 2014
With great sadness Charlie passed away on July 10, 2014. He is now reunited with his wife Pauline Millicent Randle. He is survived by five children; Joe, Neil (Joann), Albert (Shelley), Charlie (Lesley), Pauline (Peter) Laffin, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Charlie was a life long resident of Nanaimo, a great dad and grandfather and a kind, generous man with a twinkle in his eye. He loved the outdoors, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Charlie was a World War II Veteran and spent most of his working career as a millwright at G.W. Dorman Sawmill.
We would like to thank all of the people who helped care for dad in the last few years. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Nanaimo Regional Hospital .
A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 11:30 am at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo. A reception will follow at the family home.
