Survived by her daughter Michele Mateus and son Michael Mateus. Celina peacefully passed away on Monday June 26th. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and will always be remembered by her kind heart and beautiful smile. Celina was a woman that gave her all to her family, friends and her community, and her memories will be the kind that always bring a smile to ones face. We would like to thank her for all the good she has done for so many people and let her know that her memories will always be cherished. Please join us in celebrating Celina's life at her funeral to be held on Saturday, July 8th at 1:30pm at Saint Peters Church, Nanaimo, 301 Machlearly Street. There will be a reception to follow. In lieu of large bouquets of flowers the family would ask that a donation be made to the church - this can be passed on to Michele (Celina's daughter) who will then pass it on to the coordinator at the Church.
