Cecilia Bertram
Born 1921 - 2006
Passed away peacefully and suddenly on Tuesday, December 5th, 2006 at the Nanaimo General Hospital. Cis as she was known to her many friends will be sadly missed by her husband of 62 years - Clifford (Tip), her children Gregg and Carole of Seattle and her grandchildren, Travis, Sean, Laura, Vanessa, Reid and Keira, her brother Bill in Calgary and sister Dorothea in Everett, Washington and many other close family friends. Cis was born in Northumberland, England and came to Canada with her family where her father George Carroll worked in the coal mines. After her marriage she moved with her husband to Winnipeg, Brandon, Seattle, New York, Seattle, Vancouver finally after 50 years of being away she returned with her husband to Nanaimo. Cis was predeceased by her mother, father and sisters Verna and Cath. She was a wonderful person being most supportive of her husband and his career. Cis will be greatly missed.

A private family service will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
