It is with great sadness that the family of Cecil Milburn of Nanaimo, announces his sudden passing on August 01 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital at the age of 74.
Cec is survived by his loving wife Anita, his two daughters Tracy of Edmonton, Toni of Calgary. Cec also had 4 step children and numerous grandchildren as well as great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother and his sister.
Born in Nanaimo, Cec reached the rank of Captain in the RCAF where he obtained his degree in electrical engineering. He spent many years working on aircraft replacement programs. He also worked at Harmac in the engineering department in the early 80's. Later he pursued a career in industrial sales in Calgary. Cec semi-retired in Nanaimo in 2007. Cec enjoyed getting together with many friends and had a great passion for golfing.
He will be remembered as a wonderful man who loved his family, his many friends and his affection for many dogs.
The Celebration of Life was held on August 5. A later one is planned in Calgary.

Donations in his memory can be made to Downtown Hope where Cec volunteered every Saturday.
