Caroline passed away peacefully in Palliative Care at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital surrounded by love.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Lars (Larry) in 1993; also sister and brothers: Harold, Sverin, Margrit, Hans & Hilmer. She leaves to mourn sister, Ose Marie; daughter, Sylvia (Ron Dunn) and son, Gary (Lorraine) and also much loved, Joann; 5 grandchildren: Pamela, Kim, Brad, Sharon and Brenda; 8 great grandchildren: Steven, Brandon, Janaya, Eric, Tyler, David, Madison and baby Jack.
Caroline was a determined, generous, hard working lady all her life. She and Dad were the foundation of our family and will always be remembered for the countless happy times we had at their ever open home and the love we shared as a family.
A very special thank you and appreciation must go to the Kiwanis Care Givers and Home Support Workers who cared for Mom with dignity and love in the last few difficult months of her life.
Mom loved her God Jehovah and served him faithfully for many years and now rests in peace with the wonderful hope found at John 5:28, 29.
The family wish to thank you all for your kindness and compassion. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
