May 1, 1942 - August 28, 2018
Carol Ballance passed away on the morning of August 28, in the Victoria General Hospital, following a stroke 3 weeks prior. Carol is predeceased by her husband David, and is survived by her two sons, Slade (Tami) and Trent (Sandra), as well as her two granddaughters, Nicole (Nick) and Alex.
Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Carol spent her life living in Nanaimo, where she enjoyed bowling, golfing and spending time with her family. She was an amazing woman and will be missed dearly.
Carol's family would like to thank the staff at the Victoria General Hospital ICU for their tremendous care and support for Carol.
As per Carol's wishes, there will be no service, but a Celebration of Life will be held for her on Sunday, November 18th at Piccadilly Bistro. (2367 Arbot Road, Nanaimo) from 1 pm - 5 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Carol's honor to the SPCA.
