Capt. William Ernest Dunn (Bill)

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Bill on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Bill was born on November 19, 1929 in Vancouver, BC, but has resided in Nanaimo for the past 15 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his family: Pat, Susie Copeland, Tammy and Dave Waugh, Marti and Ken Dahms, his six grandchildren, Hayley, Teagan, Sydney, Spencer, Karlie, and Cassidy, as well as many extended family and friends. Bill was predeceased by his loving mother Moira, brother Alec, and sister Tody. A Memorial service will be held Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 11:30 am at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
