Brian Herring

December 18, 1966 - May 1, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend.
Brian will be deeply missed by numerous family and wonderful friends left behind.
His loving wife, Lawna Herring (Noble); children, Alisha Carlson (Kyler), Cole Herring, Mikayla Herring; step-daughter, Brianna Heese (Will); Papa's pride & joy granddaughters, Blair, Ava, and Celine; Father, Norman Herring (Ngaire); Sister, Rhonda Herring (Mike); Brother, Grant Herring; Mother-in-law, Ester Noble; Brother-in-law, Gord Noble; as well as a countless circle of family and friends here and in New Zealand.
Brian was predeceased by his mother, Maureen Herring of New Zealand in June 2012.
Born in New Zealand, "Kiwi" made Canada his home in his early 20's. He was embraced by his soccer family and it soon became his passion. He had a variety of jobs including contracting companies, Home Depot and Rona.
Brian will be remembered for his bright smile, his quirky sense of humour, his willingness to unconditionally help anyone in need and a perseverance like no other, a true warrior. He will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him.
Special thanks to all of Brian's amazingly supportive family, friends, numerous doctors, nurses and the NRGH Palliative Care "Angels". We would have not been able to walk this turbulent journey without you.
A Celebration of Life will be held May 25, 2019 from 12 - 3pm at the Bowen Park Complex, Nanaimo B.C.
