It is with profound sadness that the family of Brenda Elizabeth Ann Robinson (Bear) announces her passing on December 27, 2024, in Nanaimo BC.
Brenda lived her life with a steadfast commitment to sharing the love that filled her heart to those around her. Her warm and inviting "bear" hugs enveloped everyone in her joyful spirit, making it impossible not to feel loved in her presence.
We will forever cherish her unique "bear" voice, which she used to comfort her students, the sound of her infectious laughter, and her unwavering kindness to all.
Left behind to mourn her are her beloved son, Dylan Moore (Elise Samson) of Nanaimo, her Grandson Charlie Moore, sisters Kathy, Bev (Dave Easton), Barb, Jo-Anne, beloved niece & nephews Tamara Robinson and Josh Easton, Cody & TJ Waltho, as well as a wide circle of true friends gathered throughout her life's journey.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to every kind soul who cared for Bear during her time with us. Your compassion was felt deeply and is sincerely appreciated. Also, a special thank you to the staff at Nanaimo Seniors Village.
Brenda is predeceased by her sister, Debbie (2021) and her parents, Mary and Joe. If so desired, donations to the charity of one's choice in Bear's memory would be appreciated by the family.
A celebration of Brenda's life will take place on Saturday, February 8th 2025, from 11:00am to 1:30pm at the Nanaimo Golf Club, located at 2800 Highland Blvd, Nanaimo, BC. We invite anyone who would like to share a story or send photos to reach out via email at brendabearpics@gmail.com.
