Bob was born in Vancouver and spent most of his life in Nanaimo. Bob worked on the tug boats and in the logging industry. He had his own business called Bin Logging. His last employer before he retired was for Johnstone Plumbing.
Bob was a happy-go-lucky person, always having a smile on his face. He had a great sense of humour and loved to sing in the car. His interests were boats, cars and he was always a charmer. He will be missed at his favourite watering hole, The Palace, and by all who knew him.
A special thanks to longtime friend, Paul Barrows, for his never ending friendship and concern for Bob's wellbeing, going above and beyond in caring for his friend.
It is Bob's wishes to be cremated. There will be no service. A get together will be held at a later date. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.firstmemorialnanaimo.com
