born December 21, 1919 died December 2, 2003. Predeceased by: husband Eddie (1997), brothers Marvil, Erchil, Roland, Peder, Ferdinand, sisters: Evelyn, Shirley. Survived by: brothers James, Wallace, sister Harriet, Jeannette, children: Wayne (Sue), Brad (Wendy), Randy, Sharon Taylor, (Rob) grandkids: Trevor, Wendy, Kailen, Renae, Darren. Great grandchildren: Dylan, Travis, Danielle, countless nieces and nephews. Mom left us much the same as she lived her life with a quiet dignity with her beloved sons and much loved Wendy at her side. Mom overcame much adversity in her life and her courage was an example for us all. Blanche spent a good deal of her life working at Nanaimo General Hospital, which gave her much satisfaction and fulfillment. She will be remembered fondly, for her good humour, love of a good joke and liked to poke fun right up until the end. Mom will be sorely missed. A Funeral Service for Blanche will be held on Monday December 8, 2003 at 1:30 pm at Sands Funeral Chapel, One Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo.
