Bill R. Curtis
Born in North Vancouver June 17th, 1922, Bill is survived by his loving wife Audrey of 61 years, his son Garry (Christine), daughter Gail (Peter) Matthews, grandchildren Tracey, Tina, Mark, Paul, Tristan, great grandchild Dylan, sisters Margaret, Ruth and Pat and predeceased by mother Esther, father William and brother Melvin.
Bill passed away peacefully on May 20th, 2006 at Dufferin Place surrounded by his family. The Family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. J Bland, Nanaimo General Hospital, Cedar/Arbutus units of Dufferin Place and all the Long Term Care Aids and Nurses who gave such dedicated care to Bill.
Bill was actively involved over many years in the Nanaimo Sea Cadets, 256 Legion, Canadian Blood Services, Associated Canadian Travellers, Nanaimo Masonic Lodge 110 and the Naval Association.
Memorial Service to be held at:
Mount Benson Funeral Home
Friday May 26th, 2006 at 1:00 p.m.
