With sadness, we share the passing of Beth Elaine Lemke. Beth is survived by her loving husband, Ed; daughter, Michelle; and grandchildren, Sky, Desirae, and Quinn. Predeceased by her son, Mark.
Beth was born in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan to Cecil and Margaret Raymond. Beth attended Briercrest Schools for High School and Bible College in Caronport, Saskatchewan. She also attended Nursing school in Medicine Hat, upon which time she met and fell in love with her tall handsome man, Ed! In one exciting weekend, Beth graduated with her Nursing Degree, she and Ed got married and they moved to Portland, Oregon. It was in Portland where Beth began her Nursing career while Ed attended Masters school.
They had their two beautiful children, Michelle and Mark, and made the decision to return to Medicine Hat to raise their family.
In 1985 Beth and Ed moved to Nanaimo, BC to purchase the jewelry store, Marquis Jewels. A few years later they built their dream home in Nanoose Bay, BC where both she and Ed continued to live to this present day. They also opened a Marquis Jewels store in Qualicum Beach, which they sold in 2007 to begin a wonderful retirement adventure together.
Beth was very passionate about everything she pursued from nursing, Christian Women's Club, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Worship Team singing at Parksville Baptist Church, her friendships, Briercrest Schools (where her children attended), and many more creative ventures. However, most important to her in her later years were her kids, and grandkids.
Beth had the most loving, patient, and forgiving spirit towards everyone she cared for! She will be forever loved and missed.
